Family Law Monthly Subscriptions

Negotiating Settlement Lite Monthly Subscription $750

Some matters can be settled relatively simply through one or more exchanges of correspondence. Our office strives to minimize back and forth communication and therefore costs incurred by our clients. We are usually able to achieve this by encouraging reasonable initial proposals and managing our client's expectations. Unfortunately, we cannot control the responses or positions of opposing parties and therefore, do not recommend expending significant costs with correspondence between lawyers or the other party. Fees for negotiation are based on the number of exchanges in a given month. This option is better suited for separating couples with little to no property division, no child/ spousal support issues, and or parenting time issues. This option does not include court appearances, independently verifying financial disclosure or the preparation of any subsequent written agreement.

Includes 4 “Correspondence Credits" per month - redeemable for emails letters, phone calls, or the like, per each month of the subscription. These include correspondence with your lawyer, opposing party, the Court of Queen’s Bench, or any third party that is involved in your family law matter starting immediately upon receipt of this signed Engagement Agreement.

Usage allotment will fresh monthly, balances will not carry forward and will expire at the end of each month and additional credit can be purchased at $150 each.

You have chosen our subscription mode of payment, meaning that you will not be billed on an hourly basis nor receive a specific product offered by our office but general advice and routine communications through our office as we navigate through your legal matter. In the event the level of involvement exceeds the 4 correspondences, during any given month or another product or legal service is required, your lawyer will discuss additional fees or expenses before you receive any charges.

You will be billed at the beginning of each month in the value of your monthly subscription
